Journals for NHS staff and students
A wide range of healthcare journals are now available online to holders of NHS Athens passwords.
For best results, login with your NHS Athens account to see the full range of print and electronic journals available to you, including those purchased nationally, regionally and locally.
If the article you're looking for is not available online or in print in your local library you can use our article request service to obtain a copy (there is a charge for this service).
Users of the healthcare databases provided by the NHS Healthcare Database (such as Medline, EMBASE, CINAHL and others) will also see links to full-text articles in references found in a search, and the databases will also indicate when a journal article is held locally in print.
Access to full content of the 'Big 4' Medical Journals is available to holders of NHS Athens accounts registered with Shrewsbury and Telford Health Libraries.
