Frequently Asked Questions

Last Updated August 2014

Before you contact us via the website, please check our Frequently Asked Questions.

How do I find out about vacancies in the Trust? Do you have any vacancies in a specific department?

Please check our Recruitment section.  This includes a link to the NHS Jobs website where we advertise our vacancies.  These will also give you contact details for individual vacancies.  We are not normally able to respond to specific recruitment enquiries via the website.

I am looking for work experience in the hospital

Please check our Work Experience section. This lists the departments where work experience is available, and provides contact details.

I would like to send a message to a patient in hospital

Please use our e-card.  This lets you send a message to someone in hospital.  Because of patient confidentiality, we are not able to confirm via email whether or not people are patients in our hospitals.

I would like the contact details for a member of staff

We are not normally able to provide contact details for members of staff via our website.  If we are able to identify the person you are trying to contact then we will normally pass your message to them and invite them to contact you.  Please be as specific as possible (full name, job title, department, hospital) as we have several thousand staff and volunteers, as well as many hundreds of other attached staff.

I wish to pass on a compliment, concern or complaint

Please visit the Patients and Visitors section of our website.  This tells you how to pass on a compliment, concern or complaint.

I would like information about the conferencing facilities on the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital site

Please visit the dedicated website for the Shropshire Conference Centre
