This page provides information about performance and standards in the Trust 

We aim to provide the best possible care for all of our patients.  We measure how we do this in a number of ways, including benchmarks and standards that are set locally and nationally. This includes involving our patients and communities in defining what is important to them through the Quality Account process.

This page helps you find out about some of the main standards and benchmarks that you have told us are important to you.

  • Accident and Emergency waiting times and standards: Information is included in our Integrated Performance Report, presented to every meeting of the Trust Board. Please check out the Trust Board section to find the latest copy.
  • Annual Report and Annual Accounts: Each year we publish our Annual Report and Annual Accounts, which provide performance and finance headlines during the year.
  • Care Quality Commission Registration: Find out about our Care Quality Commission Registration status from the CQC Registration page (external website).
  • Financial Performance: Information is included in our Finance Report, presented to every meeting of the Trust Board. Please check out the Trust Board section to find the latest copy.
  • Healthcare Associated Infections: Information is included in our Integrated Performance Report, presented to every meeting of the Trust Board. Please check out the Trust Board section to find the latest copy.
  • Outpatient and Inpatient Waiting Times Information is included in our Integrated Performance Report, presented to every meeting of the Trust Board. Please check out the Trust Board section to find the latest copy.
  • Quality Dashboard: The regional Quality Observatory publishes an Acute Trust Quality Dashboard for all acute Trusts in the West Midlands, including The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. Our dashboard is available from the Quality Observatory website (external website). 
  • Quality Priorities and Quality Account: We develop a set of annual quality priorities based on what you have told us is important to you. Find out more from the Quality Account page.
