Offering advice and support
As a patient, relative or carer sometimes you may need to turn to someone for on-the-spot help, advice and support.
The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is there for you:
- advice and support for patients, their families and carers.
- providing information about NHS services
- listening to your concerns, suggestions or queries
- helping sort out problems quickly on your behalf

Keep in touch with friends & family
E-Cards are a great way to let your friend or family member know you are thinking about them while they are in hospital. This free service is available for any inpatient currently at the Princess Royal Hospital or the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Once received, your card will be hand delivered to your family member or friend. The information you provide will not be used for any other purposes.
