Work Experience
As one of the largest employers in the area, The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is committed to providing work experience placements for school and college students to assist them in developing an understanding of working life. Although the number of placements we can accommodate are limited, experiences can be offered to young people in a wide range of working environments.
All placements within the Trust are organised directly with the wards and departments. To assist in this process a contact list of the departments able to offer placements and the criteria that students need to meet to undertake a placement in each specific area is attached. The contact listing contains information about each departments contact person - the 'Department Work Experience Coordinator' who is responsible for arranging the placement.
