Kate’s Kids Nursery Self-Care Bags

Look at these extra special self-care bags which came in from a local nursery school for staff – each with a special picture drawn by the children.


Premier Foods Ltd Donation

SaTH at both hospitals were treated to some ‘pick me up’ food thank you to a donation from Premier Food Ltd – a lovely treat!


Donation of Washbags and Toiletries

Mothers’ Union and other church members at St Giles, St Peter’s and Shrewsbury Abbey have been collecting washbags and toiletries for patients. We’re very grateful for this donation which really helps patients who might enter or leave the hospital without belongings.


Euro Hydraulic Services Ltd

The team and customers of Euro Hydraulic Services Ltd in Shrewsbury have been collecting for our ITU at RSH – the company and customers have been making donations. Thanks guys!


Donation from Sainsbury’s in Telford

Saisbury’s donated a shopping trolley full of grab and go snacks for busy staff at PRH. They were delivered to departments this afternoon and everyone said to say #ThankYou


Wellington Orbit Care Packages

Wellington Orbit who visited us again this week to deliver ‘orbit care packages’ – the boxes  contained a vast arrange of grab and go food items, as well as self care products such as handcreams and facemasks. There were 10 boxes in total which where delivered to RSH and PRH complete with messages from the public expressing their thanks for the work of staff in our hospitals.


Captain Tom’s Money Funds TV’s for Patients

A further TV, funded by Captain Tom’s money, was delivered to Ward 28 at RSH for the benefit of patients – more patients and staff happy today because of this great man


TV for Patients on Ward 27

Happy staff and patients on Ward 27 after we delivered their TV today which was funded with great thanks to Sir Captain Tom Moore via NHS Charities Together. The TV’s help patients with loneliness and isolation whilst visiting remains on hold.


The Ironbridge & Severn Gorge Lions Club Donation

Donations of ‘Kindness snack boxes’ were delivered to staff at PRH with thanks to The Ironbridge & Severn Gorge Lions Club, with the help of Broseley CO-OP, St George’s Primary School & Lyreco. 20 bags, complete with a poem written by Kim Sohier, John’s daughter who works at St Georges primary school,  and beautiful pictures drawn by Lily, Edie and Jack Lamb (children of Colin Lamb, who works in the Fracture Clinic at PRH) were delivered to wards and departments .


Little Bags of Kindness

Thank you to Little Bags of Kindness who dropped off some care packages to RSH to be given out to staff in ITU – our public really are thinking of us and being very generous.


Donation to ITU staff in memory of patient who died after contracting COVID-19

Donations have been sent to staff on the Intensive Therapy Unit (ITU) at PRH in memory of a patient who sadly died after contracting COVID-19. The family of Stephen Poulter said they could not thank ITU staff enough for the care they gave Steve right up to the end of his life.
