A massive congratulations to Henrietta, who at just 10 years old has raised almost £3,000 for the Neonatal Ward at Princess Royal Hospital. 💙
Henrietta did 100 squats a day for a whole month to raise money for rubber ducks that could be given to babies to splash with during their first bath and then take home with them with the date recorded on the duck to commemorate the occasion! She also raised funds for crafting items to be given to mothers in a ‘New Parent’ group where they can talk about their birthing experiences.
Julia Clarke (Director of public Participation) said ‘we are so grateful for all the hard work that Henrietta put into her challenge. She went way above and beyond the total amount she was hoping to raise, and the support the Unit will be able to provide for new parents and their babies will be able to be increased with all these great resources’
Thank you so much to Henrietta for her incredible determination, she is an inspiration to others and has made such a difference to the lives of so many.
