Community Engagement Meetings

To keep up to date with the latest Community Engagement news you can read out Engagement Newsletter.

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is committed to working with our communities to make sure we deliver the best healthcare for people living in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales.

As well as being responsible for our People’s Academies, the Community Engagement team organise quarterly Community Working Together meetings in Telford and Shrewsbury where local people are invited to come along to find out what is happening at their hospital, and talk to the team about anything they think we need to know.

If you would like our Community Engagement team to attend your meeting, or community event, please contact the office on 01743 491473, or email

Community Engagement Meetings

These meetings are open to everyone living in the areas served by our hospitals, and we would be grateful if you could share the invitation with your networks. The aim of these meetings is to engage with the local communities, provide updates on the various hospital services and answer any questions from the public.

Registration is free through our Eventbrite page or by contacting the Engagement team on 01743261473 or email

All of the meetings will run from 10am – 12pm.

Our next event is on Wednesday 16 December and is being held virtually through Microsoft Teams. Visit Eventbrite to book!

We are holding a drop-in session to talk about RESPECT forms and end of life care Tuesday 27 October at 2pm. Book your place here.
