Monday 19 September, the date of Her Majesty The Queen’s funeral, will be a national bank holiday to allow the public to pay their respects and commemorate her reign.
This means there will be impact on some patient appointments.
Anyone affected will be contacted directly. If you have an appointment on Monday and no longer wish to attend on that day, please contact the number on your appointment letter as soon as possible.
To give colleagues, patients and visitors the opportunity to pay their respects to Her Majesty The Queen, books of condolence are available in our hospital chapels at both Princess Royal Hospital and Royal Shrewsbury Hospital throughout the period of mourning.
