Following feedback from patients, visitors and colleagues, we are making some changes to the allocation of car parking spaces at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
The changes will come into effect from Tuesday 1 September and will help us make the best use of the parking available across the hospital site.
What is changing?
From 1 September:
- Staff Car Park 4 will become a public car park (Zone 1), providing additional parking for patients and visitors.
- The current Zone 1 public car park will become Staff Car Park 4.

We appreciate your support while these changes are introduced and hope the additional public parking spaces will help patients and visitors attending Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
If you are able to use the free Park & Ride service, please continue to do so. This helps to reduce pressure on parking at the hospital and supports patients and visitors who need to park on site.
