Temporary reduced catering and hospitality service at our hospitals

Due to unforeseen circumstances with our catering supply chain, we are unfortunately temporarily reducing our catering offer for patients from Saturday 20^th April – Monday 22^nd April at both the Princess Royal Hospital (PRH) and the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (RSH). We are doing all that we can to resume the service and will keep you informed once resolved.

During this time, our patients will have three hot meal choices at lunch time, instead of four options. For evening meals, the catering team will be providing soups and sandwiches. Alternative options will be available for those with dietary needs as required.

Caffe Bistro in the Women and Children’s Centre at PRH and Caffe Bistro at RSH remain open and unaffected, and are open during the following times:

• Monday to Friday: 8am – 6.30pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 10am – 5pm.

The vending machines remain available across our hospital sites and the retail offer, including Costa at PRH, is not affected.
