On Monday 19 January, our contractors Integrated Health Projects (IHP) will be starting groundworks to prepare for the relocation of a two-storey modular building currently located at the front of the Emergency Department (ED) at Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (RSH).
The building will be relocated to the north of the site, near the new Ward 38 and 39 once the groundworks and foundations are complete in Spring. This is so refurbishment and remodelling of ED currently underway at RSH can continue to create a dedicated children’s emergency care footprint, ready for 2028.
Please be aware there will be no disruption for patients and visitors as part of this relocation, so please continue to access services as normal.
