About Health – Diabetes foot care

Shropshire, particularly the Telford area, experiences higher-than-average rates of diabetes-related lower limb amputations. With good footcare routine and regular diabetes foot screening, it may be possible to prevent as many as 80% of these often avoidable amputations.
Nicky Beard, Podiatry Diabetes Lead at SaTH joins us to talk about feet and foot care for people with diabetes.
