The Trust that runs Shropshire’s acute hospitals is asking people across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and mid Wales to take a few minutes to complete a survey to help develop a new Public Participation Strategy.

Julia Clarke, Director of Corporate Services at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH) said: “Listening to our staff and working in partnership with the communities we serve is a key priority for us.”

Hannah Roy, Head of Public Engagement at the Trust, which runs the Princess Royal Hospital (PRH) in Telford and the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital (RSH), said: “It’s really important that we have a clear strategy to involve the public that is developed alongside our staff and members of the public.

“We’d like to thank everyone who has contributed so far, and encourage anyone who has not yet done so to let us know what they think. It’s really important that the views and needs of our local communities are reflected in this strategy.”

Conversations are ongoing within the Trust, and everyone living in the areas that are served by RSH and PRH is invited to complete the survey which can be found online at: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/8JHWR8F

Kate Ballinger, the Trust’s Community Engagement Facilitator said: “We understand that not everyone will have access to the online survey, and invite people to call the office if they would prefer to complete the survey over the phone or request a paper copy.”
