The following information is from our colleagues at Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)

A pop-up event aiming to find out your views on local health and social care services, as well as the Shropshire Care Closer to Home transformation programme, is being held in Whitchurch on Tuesday, 25 June.

Barrie Reis-Seymour and Laura Casey, from NHS Shropshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), will be in the main reception area of Whitchurch Community Hospital to listen to people’s views on their local services and to talk to people about the exciting changes being developed as part of the Shropshire Care Closer to Home Programme.

No appointment is necessary – you can just drop into the hospital between 1pm and 4pm to have a chat and find out more.

The Shropshire Care Closer to Home Programme aims to help local people over 65 with a number of health conditions, get care and support from the NHS and Shropshire Council in their own home or local community and avoid a hospital stay.

The event is the latest in a series of engagement events, based on the national campaign ‘What Matters to You’ run by NHS England.

They provide a great opportunity to hear people’s thoughts and experiences, giving us a clear understanding of how current services work and how the new system can best meet people’s needs.

To share what matters to you, and to find out more about Shropshire Care Closer to Home, visit the team on Tuesday 25 June at the main reception at Whitchurch Community Hospital, Claypit Street, Whitchurch, SY13 1NT, between 1pm – 4pm.
