Incorrect messages about organ donation are being shared. The NHS is asking people to share this message to provide the right information.

England does not yet have an opt out system. A consultation has been held and a parliamentary bill is being considered.

If an opt out system is introduced, you will still be able to quickly and easily register a decision not to donate, just as you can now. There are no deadlines. You can control what happens to your organs.

Please remember that donated organs save the lives of desperately sick children and adults who have no other hope.

One day it could be you, or someone you love, who needs a lifesaving transplant.

There are a lot of myths around organ donation and they cost lives. You can save lives. Please read about the reality here https://www.organdonation.nhs.uk/supporting-my-decision/myth-busting/
