There is still time to snap up your tickets for an unforgettable fundraising evening of music featuring performances from the award-winning Jackfield Brass Band and The Arts Centre Telford (TACT)’s Community Choir – A Choired Taste.
From much-loved songs from stage and screen to inspiring choral performances, the Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Charity concert on Saturday 10 October 2026 at Wrekin College, Wellington, Telford, promises to be a memorable night of live musical entertainment, with refreshments and the chance to win some fantastic raffle prizes.
All proceeds raised will support Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Charity’s Children’s Services Campaign, which is funding projects that enhance the experience of children, young people and their families receiving care across The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust
This includes exciting initiatives, such as a Sensory Room and Garden within the new Children’s Ward at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, which is due to open in 2028.
Julia Clarke, Director of Public Participation, said: “Music has a wonderful way of bringing people together, and this concert is a perfect example of that.
“We’re delighted to be hosting an evening filled with outstanding performances and fundraising for our Children’s Services Campaign. The support shown through events like this helps us do more for children and young people in our care, and we can’t wait to share this special evening with our supporters.”
