Accessing NHS Mail at home

Any staff member with an nhs.net email address can access there emails by visiting the following link on a computer or mobile device

  1. Browse to the following link https://portal.nhs.net/
  2. Click “login” in the top right hand corner
  3. Enter your nhs.net address and password (for example joe.bloggs@nhs.net)
  4. Click sign in
  5. Click the email tab
  6. You should now be able to view your emails *please always remember to log off after a session

Accessing the SaTH App

A guide on how to install the SaTH app is available on our Staff Intranet. We’re also happy to email over the guide to any nhs.net address linked to SaTH. Please contact the Web team via the following email to request an install guide: sath.webdevelopmentteam@nhs.net

Reporting an Absence

All Staff

If you need to report an absence please contact your Manager.

Doctors Absence Reporting Line:

Medical Staffing 07807 720055

8am-5pm Monday – Friday; 8am-12pm Saturday & Sunday

If you need to record an absence and require further support, please contact sath.Sicknessreporting@nhs.net.

If you have access to Healthroster for recording of annual leave however have not been trained to use it for absence recording, or would like refresher training on how to record an absence, please book onto a Healthroster Training – Recording an Absence session which is available on the intranet Training Diary under Non-clinical IT Training.

PCR Referrals and Positive Test Results

Guidance on how to access a PCR test can be found here.

Should you receive a positive result please email sath.sickness.reporting@nhs.net or ask you Manager to do this for you.
