Hearing aid batteries generally last up to 7-10 days.

Replacement batteries can be obtained from your nearest GP practice. They are often available from the main reception desk and you have to take your NHS hearing aid record book with you.

Audiology no longer accepts old batteries – please recycle batteries at your nearest recycling centre or supermarket.

Hearing aid batteries usually last between 7 to 10 days. When removing a new battery from the packaging, you should wait 2 minutes before putting it into your hearing aid.

If you are unable to get replacement batteries from your medical practice, we are able to post them if you contact us or complete the form below.
