Hearing aid batteries generally last up to 7-10 days.

Replacement batteries can be obtained from your nearest GP practice. They are often available from the main reception desk and you must take your NHS hearing aid record book or battery issue card with you.

Audiology no longer accepts old batteries – please recycle batteries at your nearest recycling centre or supermarket.

When removing a new battery from the packaging, you should wait 1 minute before putting it into your hearing aid.
