Childrens Services Campaign

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital Charity is continually moved by the generosity of local businesses and communities who give their support. We have  launched a campaign to help create lasting improvements for the children cared for across its services.

Funds raised through this new campaign will support exciting projects, including the creation of a Sensory Room and a Sky Garden for the new Children’s Ward at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, set to open in 2028. These developments are designed to enhance the hospital experience for young patients and their families.

A sensory room will provide a calming space for children who may feel anxious or distressed, while a sky garden outside the new children’s ward on the third floor will offer an interactive and soothing environment as part of the Hospitals Transformation Programme. Together, these spaces will bring comfort, stimulation and a welcome distraction during hospital stays.

You can get involved by fundraising, making a one-off or regular donation, or simply sharing our campaign as these will enable improvements that benefit children throughout the year and create a lasting legacy.
