Our journey

Our plans were consulted on in 2018, and as we further develop the detailed models of care we want to engage service users, staff and other stakeholders to help inform our work and deliver the best possible value for patients and our staff. To fully realise our plans, we need to open our new emergency services at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. Building work has started and we hope to open our new building in 2028. We will then be able to make these changes and improve care for everyone.
