Speciality Patient Experience Groups

Speciality Patient Experience Groups are being set up to bring ideas together and work with services across the hospital to improve patient experience in the area including:

– How the area can learn and act on feedback

– Looking at common themes to help improve our services

– Be the patient voice by sharing your experiences from a patients view

This is a great opportunity for patients or carers to get involved with improving different areas of the Trust.

To be able to apply you must have used hospital services within 2021 or 2022.   People who are successful will need to go through a number of checks and an induction similar to our volunteers.

This will include, references, health clearance, DBS check and risk assessments. There will be 2-3 hours of online e-learning and people must be able to attend the Peoples Academy within the first 12 months (8 hours over 4 weeks). To learn more about the Peoples Academy click here.
